Nutrition

Milk is a very important source of calcium. After 9 months of age it is important to make sure that a child has enough calcium for good bone growth. Good early bone growth may very likely lead to less of a chance of osteoporosis later in life.

Iron is very important for healthy red blood cells. Healthy red blood cells carry oxygen to the rest of the body. Once a child is no longer on formula or breast milk it is important that they get enough iron in their diet so they do not become anemic.

Did you know…

a computer will never answer your calls during office hours?

We have specifically decided that you should always hear the live voice of one our friendly staff answering your phone calls. This way you can immediately explain what you need for your child instead of listening to computer recordings asking you to press numbers.

Did you know…

we do procedures in our office that most other pediatricians won’t?

These include:
● Casts and splints for
   minor breaks and fractures
● Sutures (stitches) for
   lacerations
● IV fluids for dehydration
● Drawing blood
● Giving vaccines
